Warranty

Caldwells warrants to the immediate purchaser for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase that its’ doors will be free from defects in materials or workmanship as follows:

1. Warping of the door in excess of ¼ inch.
2. Splits in door panels in excess of 1/16 inch.
3. Delaminating of veneer.
4. Separation of stiles and rails in excess of 1/16 inch.

Warp means a distortion in the plane of the door itself and does not refer to the relationship of the door to the frame or jamb in which it is hung. The term warp shall include bow, cup and twist. Warp shall be measured by placing a straight edge on the suspected concave face of the door at any angle. The measurement of warp shall be made at the point of maximum distance between the bottom of the straight edge and the face of the door.

General Exclusions
The following items are specifically excluded from the warranty of all Caldwell products.

1. Unsatisfactory service or appearance caused by failure to follow handling and finishing instructions and installation.
2. Appearance of finished doors.
3. Natural variations in the color and/or texture of the wood.
4. Movement or shrinkage of panels in raised-panel doors.
5. Warping, splitting or delaminating caused by failure to protect and seal all six (6) sides within 72 hours of installation on the job site.
6. Defects caused by normal wear and tear, weathering, customer abuse and neglect or alteration.

Caldwells maximum liability is the limited to the purchase price of the product.
